Matt Holmes - Executive Director
Matt has worked throughout the K-12 education spectrum in the Bay Area and Central Valley Communities. He obtained his BA from UC Davis in Pre-Industrial European History, worked as a classroom teacher in SF Unified School District, and eventually graduated from SF State University with a Masters in U.S. History of the American West.
In 2009 he accepted a position as a Park Ranger with four Contra Costa County National Park Service units where he fell in love with the City of Richmond working in an education & outreach capacity for Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park.
As Executive Director Matt develops strategic partnerships, and ensures that education & youth development programs are student-centered; providing our youth with relevant experiences and the necessary knowledge to achieve their college, career and civic goals.
